I designed VAEN between projects because technology should enable access to better things: one material, one process, one clear loop. Plastic flows from the extruder, layer by layer, and I guide it: Born from a cut. Shaped by flow. That instep cut lifts the silhouette into sneaker territory; the heel wrap holds; the algorithmic pattern moves like a continuous current. VAEN is printed for you from your foot scan, so it feels right from day one. And when its journey ends, the same matter can start again—recovered and re-printed. No glue. No assemblies. Just material in motion. I built it so you’d want to wear it—because it looks right, feels right, and makes sense.
